I recently finished this painting that was inspired by a Life Book lesson by Effy Wild! Although it looks nothing like the actual lesson…

I wanted to show how we all have an inner light that can either be hidden, or we can let it shine brightly, enhancing and illuminating our daily lives whilst also shining on the lives of others.
Sometimes this can be scary as we can be afraid of opening our true selves to the world for fear of disapproval, however one of my teachers, the amazing Lisa Nichols!!

Put it so perfectly when she said, ‘When your light shines too brightly for some people, just hand them a pair of sunglasses” I love that sooo much. :)
