Hello everyone! I hope you are well? I feel that I am finally on top of things after months of planning, preparing and creating.
I managed to create and launch a new website for my paper designs! It will see me expand from offering digital cutting files to providing finished products to the hospitality market. I am sooo excited!! :)
I also redesigned my website www.joanneseale.com to include new sections on my paper designs and my new greetings cards!!
I’ve been making greetings cards from my artwork for quite some time but have never made them available for use, more details will follow in a later post.
I made this painting several years ago when I had just starting painting, it was part of a Life Book 2014 lesson taught by Tamara Laporte, I made my version into the goddess Ostara and she is carrying the springtime in her hair!! I love this painting so much, I might even turn it into a greetings card!! :)
I finally finished the last of my Life Book 2017 lessons… this one is ‘Shine your light and embrace your shadow’ made with watercolour paints and pencils.
I’ve been turning some of my paintings into greetings cards :)
Sneeak peek here!
Hello everyone, I finished another Life Book inspired painting which I’ve named ‘From the Ashes’.
I painted it to explore the situations we can sometimes find ourselves in, when going through a hard time in life, we can feel destroyed, burnt to the ground in a pile of ash on the floor.
I wanted this painting to show how we all have the ability to rise from the ashes and renew ourselves, it takes courage, self-love and determination, but it is possible.
I talk about this more in the video linked below.
I finished another life book lesson! This painting represents finding peace within a busy urban environment, as some of you may know in 2015 I experienced a huge change in the peacefulness of my area when a concentrated flight path for Heathrow Airport was diverted to over my home with no warning!!! I am moving!!
I managed to complete a painting over xmas :) it was actually inspired by a Life Book 2017 lesson but looks nothing like it.
It features the solar plexus chakra ‘Manipura’ as I do believe that chakras exist, I’ve only drawn a guy about 3 times so it was a good practice :)
