Design inspired by nature

Hi all, I’ve been in my craft studio all weekend as its cold and damp here in London.
Yesterday I felt inspired to make an antelope head style motif, I knew how I wanted it to look, I just couldn’t remember the name of the species etc.
After a good look around the internet I found it.. it’s the Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) found in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Here is my interpretation..

Kudu antelope cut file

I made it using vector path software and cut it on my Silhouette Cameo.

I can’t stop looking at it!!

Hope you’ve all had great weekends too, what did you make this weekend?

  1. Wow, Ive been looking for an image like this as well. Ive tried to download the pack thinking it would be in black and white but it is just an outline…Could I use this image for a business logo? Im starting up a travel company and this looks perfect.

    • Hi, thanks for your interest in this image.
It has been created as a cutting file, if you would like to license it for commercial use and receive it in a graphic format please send an email to phloemcreate AT gmail.com
