I have been doing the art course called Kaleidoscope by Willowing taster sessions.

During this course we will be exploring colour and the many methods of using it in artwork.

In this session with Kim Dellow we were encouraged to make loose nature sketches and paint them in an analogous complemetary colour scheme.

I decided to make a sketch of Cardi-B for this session with Toni Burt, I had a photo of Cardi that I wanted to paint for ages. This sketch was eventually painted in analagous watercolours with the Cardi quote ‘I’m the rose that came from the concrete’

This next painting was from a session with Eulalia Mejia where we painted a colourful quirky pigeon in complimentary colours.
