I’ve been doing the taster sessions for this year’s Kaleidoscope course run by Willowing, the very first session by Tamara Laporte was this cute little watercolour doggy, it has a slightly distorted lens view to accentuate the nose.

Mine came out looking quite sad so I decided it was a rescue dog, and the quote reflects this too.

It feels good to get back to painting now that I’ve mostly finished all my 3D courses, although it’s been a pretty bad time in the 3D industry with 1000’s of redundancies.

I recently took a business course with the lovely Successful Mums which was very insightful and has prepared me in looking for work.

I’ve also been doing a lot of cycling, mostly in parks and cycleways and have been getting seriously back into my nature studies etc.

That’s all for now but I’ll try to post more of my artwork etc in the future.
