I have been continuing my journey with painting on canvas by producing this artwork.
It features an ivory mask on a gold background that I have seen on my visits to the British Museum for over a decade.

It originates from the Kingdom of Benin and is called “The Mask Of Iyoba’
I’ve always wondered what other great works the artist created…

It feels great to be finally working on canvas, I’m really looking forward to producing some new pieces and delight in the fact that the 3 paintings below were all blank canvases a few months ago.
