Hellooo everyone, it’s been a while yes?? Well I’m back now so you don’t have to worry :)

I spent my summer returning to cycling and rediscovering my local area, I realised that it was quite nice! lol

I’ve also been continuing my 3D journey, for those of you who dont know I was an Archive Footage Producer for a large broadcaster up until my redundancy in 2017 then I went to work for the lovely Cartoon Network and since the pandemic I have been retraining in 3D.

It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve learnt loads.

Here is my latest creation, a 3D garden design that was inspired by some of the parks I visited over the summer

3D Garden Design

I loved creating some of the flowers for this project and it reminded me of why I started this blog and why it is named Phloem! It was because of my love of plants.

As has been mentioned in previous posts things came to a halt when I found I could no longer use my own garden due a concentrated flight path being unexpectedly placed over the area with no warning.

I am hypersensory and noises can literally hurt me, I began to suffer from sleep deprivation, IBS, eczema etc etc and it really eroded the quality of my life. I’m pretty sure it is what led to my being made redundant too.

I have no idea why this low flying flight path was placed over our area as it is around 20 miles from the nearest international airport.

More on this soon

But anyway now that the days are darker and the nights are drawing in I will be more active here, hopefully sharing inspiring and creative news about what I’ve been making and doing.

xx
