New art journal page – No one to blame?

I recently found this Erica Jong quote and it really resonated with me.
‘How wonderful to have someone to blame! How wonderful to live with one’s nemesis! You may be miserable, but you feel forever in the right. You may be fragmented, but you feel absolved of all the blame for it. Take your life in your own hands, and what happens? A terrible thing: no one to blame.’

When we blame others for our failure to take action, we create a toxic cloud of poisonous negative energy, which debilitates both ourselves and the other people it touches.

Self care begins with taking responsibility for our lives..
